Welcome to Rainbow Books for Schools. We are a group of parents of some pretty cool kids, and we know that there are good folk like yourselves out there that are keen to support rainbow kids (and their allies) to access some great books that showcase diversity. Every kid deserves to feel seen, and we are here to help you make that happen.

How it works

We have worked with an independent book store to put together some amazing book bundles. You choose a bundle that appeals, and choose a school that you want it sent to. We will contact the school to let them know, and send out your chosen bundle (with or without a note from you!). It generally will take around 10 days for your chosen school to receive their books, but you can opt in to get tracking updates. If you don't want to buy a whole book bundle, you can donate towards another bundle - and every time we have enough for a bundle we will send it out.

If you would like to receive donated rainbow books for your school library, please fill in the form on this page and we will add you to our list. When donors ask us to choose a recipient school, we will match their donated bundle to a school or kura on our list. If you have any questions, please contact us.
